New Challange

Ok.. Tomorrow is the start of a new project for me and T.B. We are going to see what we can do in 2 months time. We are going all out balls to the wall. I finally got back into lifting tonight. It has been almost 3 weeks since I lifted on a regular basis, and boy could I tell. My bench press has really suffered. But starting tomorrow I will be eating as clean as possible, and lift 5 times a week and cardio 6 times a week. On a side note, I was hoping to run a 5K this summer, so this morning I woke up a decided to see how well I could do it. I was pretty happy. I completed 3 miles in 28min 50secs... My goal was under 30min. I then however found out tonight that the 5K I wanted to run in is on pentecost. Oh well. Well here are my pics I took tonight. It hasnt been a full 6 weeks since last time, but I wanted a starting comparison.

Go Time V2.0

Ok, Just got done talking to "The Bobby" and it has been decided to start a new little challenge. This challenge is designed to challenge ourself. Since I have been back from MS. I have had a really hard time getting back into lifting. I feel like I am doing great on my cardio still, but weights I have really sucked. (2 times in 2 weeks.... ) I am now down to 209.5 but it is time to up my game. Starting Monday May 1st. T.B. and I are going to have a all out drag out, let see what we can do in 2 months time. My personal goals are to eat as clean as possible and work extremely hard for the two month period. I belive that with the right mental attitude and physical work, we can make tremendous change in two months. Right now we are sitting about 5 months out from our dead line. That is still a huge amount of time. My goals have really changed from when I started, and I will be posting the new goals in the coming days. I will also be posting pictures the weekend. This will do two things. Allow me to see the progress this far, and be able to gauge my progress for the next two months. Soooo.... As I stated in the title, ITS GO TIME!!!!!!

Things that make you go hmmmmmm........

Ok,

Quick post since I have 1 million things I got to get done today. I met my goal of 215 by my birthday, so I am very please with that. However I noticed that the day after my birthday I was 217... Thats not right... 2 pounds in a day? Then this morning I weighed..... Another pound. Hmm 3 pounds in 3 days that is darn near impossible. So I did a few math calc's 3 pounds at 3500 cals. for a total of 10,500 cals on top of what I need to sustain my current weight so that is another 2200 a day X 3 for a total of 17,100 calories I would have had to eat the last 3 days for that to be fat. So I started thinking there is something else to this. Let me look at my diet. Granted I did eat poorly on my birthday there is still no more the 3000 cals that day. But ahhhh.. Looking at what I ate, I consumed a ton of sodium, and yesterday, I consumed 1/2 ton of sodium. There is the link. I is not actaully fat, but fluid retention. Sooo what is my plan? I am going to closely over the next few weeks watch how much sodium I am taking in and make adjustments. When I notice I am consuming more then I should I am going to up my water intake. That is the beautiful thing about the body. It is all science. The body works for a reason, nothing is ever random, there is a reaction for ever action. I will be posting Stats later on tonight. Hopefully the Bobbie will as well. I am also hoping the Bobbie gets motivated soon, and doesnt think he can wait till the last two months of this contest and give it all he has and win this thing. The purpose of this contest was to see what our potential is. To see what we could do in a 9 month period, NOT A 2 MONTH OR 1 MONTH PERIOD!
