New Toy!

Well in regards to our weigh in, T.B. Did AWESOME! All the way around he is making some great improvements. I did good, but not as well as I would have hoped. I think that will always be the case though. I have about decided that everyone has a very warpped view of there body. I look at some people that have an amazing bodies, but all they see is there flaws. I hope I will be able to overcome that when the time comes. I think I am actually addicted to jogging. I have been joggin 2 miles a day, and I am loving it. It is taking me about 20min to jog two miles. In talking with Debbie I am going to drop the cardio a little bit, and start hitting the weights hard. I am hoping to get addicted to weights like I am running right now. As you can tell by the title of this post and the picture I got a new toy last night. I love precher curls, and atlast I will be able to do them again. Keva and I now have a pretty sweet little workout set at home. My goal is to try to get Kelty down early each night, and end the day with some good soild lifting. My diet has been going ok. I still really need to up my protien, but I having issues with that right now. Thoese who know me, know that I dont like to put much processed foods into my body, This included man made sugar substitues. It gripes me that all these healty food companies put crap in there protein powder. I think I have finally found one that I like called Whey Good by Sports Nutrition. They use a sugar alchol called Xyitol (Same thing as in Trident Gum) It is a little higher in carbs then a substitue, but safer in my mind. I also need to start drinking alot more water then I have been. I have been drinking about 60oz a day, but I need to double that. Well that is about all to report for now. I was down to 222 today. Not to bad considering 3 years ago when Kelty was born I was close to 255. OUCH!

Judgement Day.... Well Kind Of....

Well today is the first way in of this contest. I thought it was tomorrow, but to my shock it is today. I have to say even know I havent bloged in 13days I am still on track. I am more dedicated now then I was two years ago before the feast. I WILL MAKE MY GOAL! My eating is good, but this week I want to make adjustments to it. With some advice from Debbie, I will be uping my protein. I think my eating has been fine so far, but I am not really seeing the results I wanted to. I will also be lifting more. My cardio has been awesome! I have been jogging 2 miles almost everyday. I bought a nifty heart mon to keep track of my cardio, and I am very happy with my progress. I am feeling good about this challange. I just hope to be able to start really seeing some results in the comming weeks. I think it has taken the last few weeks to get my mind in shape, and now it is time to get my body in shape. Here is my eating log for the last few weeks. Here is my exercise for the last few weeks. And finally here is a graph of my intake from the last few weeks.

A Little Disappointed

Well I was just informed that "The Bobby" Is a liar and a cheat!!! Luckly G is not. Here is how it played out. I ask Bobby how is is eating.... GREAT he exclaims! Later thanks to G I find out that he drank a beer, and a large appetizer full of fat. Yesterday I called him at he said he is eating healty roast beef.. Once again G ratted him out. He was really eating 3 Arbys, and a large fry. That just ooozes healthy! Ok enough about the Bobby and more about MEE!!!! I have closely started watching what I am eating at counting every calorie, fat gram, protein, carb, etc.... I have a spiffy little program that lets me graph everything and also tracks my progress. I have done pretty good that last few days with exercise and all. Yesterday I did Bi's and Back. Which I did pretty good with, and the two days before that I jogged. This week I hope to get into my groove!

Peace Out! - D.C.

Nu ma nu ma iei nu ma nu....

It is sooooooo game on. Lets see yesterday. I ate pretty good. My nutrition isnt quite where I want it yet, but that will come. I dont want to make so many dramatic changes that I get frustrated and quit. Yesterday meals was almost identical to the day before. I had a english muffin 3 pieces of bacon, Roast Beef Sandwich, Cliff Bar, Peach Ice Tea, and Tortilla Soup. This time I used some real chips in it instead of baked tortilla strips. So not tooooo bad. Last night I went and ran a mile. Today my meals kinda sucked. Not that I ate bad, just not enought and the right stuff. I had 2 cliff bars, a bag of Cashews, and some whole wheat pasta with a red sauce and sausage and two pieces of whole wheat bread, with olive oil and butter. Right now on my diet I am trying to cut out all processed foods, including corn syrups, Hydro Oil, and GMO's. Once I acomplish that I will really tighten the rope down on my nutrition. I think I am off to a great start though. Tonight I am hitting Back and Bi's!! OHHHH YEAAAHHHH. So T.B. Lets kick it into gear. No more cherry cokes... No more beer..... No more Fish and Chips... Lets Do it!

Alright... Goals at last.

Well here I am day 2 of me being serious about this challenge. Here is what I ate yesterday. I started the morning off with an English Muffin and 3 pieces of bacon. I then ate a roastbeef sandwich for lunch, I then met Keva and the store where I got a PB cliff bar and a Peach Honest Ice Tea. Then for dinner I made a modified tortilla soup. All in all I think I did pretty good. Diet is something that I am going to change over the course off this challenge. I know where I want to be with my diet, but it is going to take some discipline to get there. I also really need to journal and map what I am eating to see what I am taking in. It is really a wake up call when you actually put the numbers down on what you have been eating. Keva and I love Qdoba! Well yesterday I looked up the nutrition info on there burritos. It was UNBELIVEABLE.. Over 1000cals in one burrito. I ate that on top of chips a queso. Soooo... I am going to have to rethink the whole Qdoba. I am giving myself a free day a week, but I still think that is alittle extreme. Okkk now for the moment you have been wating for... GOALS!!!!!!! Drum roll please..... Ok Right now as of this morning I was 227.5 I would like to be at 205 by the feast. (Actually I would like to be 198 but I am going to say 205 for right now) My BMI right now is right around 29 I would like to be at 20 (Actually 18). And I want to be in 34 pants. I also want to see some good definition on by arms. Let me know what you think guys. Today I am planing on jogging when I get home, and I still havent decided what to do for dinner yet.
