Six years later.....

Wow..  A lot can happen in 6 years, things I never could have imagined.  As always life has its up and downs...

Well it is time again for me to take back control of where I am headed and I need to start with my health again.  I am at 215lb once again.  I have set a goal of getting down to 190lbs in the next 12 weeks.  My biggest obstacles at this point are 1) My own laziness. 2) What I am eating 3) How much I am eating 4) Drinking.  All things said #4 is probably contributing to 1,2,3...    I decided that I needed to start blogging again and putting in print my plan, my challenges, and my success's.

My plan for this week is to get into a routine.  I will come up a workout routine, as well as getting my diet down.  My challenge is going to be eating clean and watching my drinking.  I did start this morning with a run and it felt great.

So here is to success.

Cheers!

SOOOOOORRRREEEEEE

Ouch.. I am hurting. Night before last I worked chest, and then last night I worked Legs and Bi's. Needless to say I hurt. After working legs I decided to try to go for a jog. Key word here "Tried" I joged a mile and was way to cold, and sore. Tonight is a off day for lifting but I am going to try to jog 2 - 3 miles. I still need to get my eating back in order, nothing horrible but not perfect either. I plan on still getting pictures up at least by the end of the weekend. My goal is also to try and post here everyday. Hopefully this will keep me motivated. I am working hard at getting Keva motivated as well, but so far I think I have just pissed her off. Oh Well. We will see. We have 35 Days left until Thanksgiving! Time to hit it hard!

Getting back into a routine...

Well I worked out last night.. I really didnt want to, but I managed to talk myself into it. I should have jogged afterwards, but it was to cold and wet. I am planing on tonight working legs and then going for a jog afterwards. I posted that I gained 5 pounds at the feast, well... It seems to be catching up to me. Make that 7. I not sure why I gained two more, but it isnt really bothering me much. I think I have changed my mindset from weight loss to bulking. I am really excited about putting on some soild mass. I do however want to watch my diet. I have noticed since I have been back I have added alot more fat to my diet that wasnt there before. I am going to try hard to cut that back out. I also have gone coffee crazy since I have been back. I want to work on that and limit myself to teas during the week and then my coffee on the weekend. I really think I can keep up this as a way of life. The feast was great, but I really did get sick of eating crap. I am tired of Chocolate... Yes I know crazy but true.... I think that hardest for me is once I get out of jogging getting back into it. I love to jog when I am doing it though. So the next few days I am going to focus on getting back to jogging and cleaning up my eating a little.

And were back.... 346 Days to Go!!!

Well we had a GREAT FOT in Chattanooga. It was great to see Bobby, G, and C again. It was offical. I took the prize this time. A nice Shinny new 30Gig BLACK iPod and the coveted red workout shirt! I came to the feast weighing 179.5 and left weighing 185. Gaining 5.5 Pounds! I did manage to jog most of the time I was there, and managed to break C and T.B. in the process. Well I am back and ready to complete Phase 2 of the OPFC. We have 1 month until Thanksgiving and I am going to use this time to get into a routine (Workout & Diet) to start building some mass. I will be posting pics and measurements here this week. I also want to start puting down my training and eating each day. As the title states we have 346 more days to go until this challange is over. Its Go Time!

5K Results

Well... As you know I was hoping to hit 200 by Fathers Day... Well it didnt quite happen. I did how ever manage to break 200 this last week, so I am very happy about that. As you know my 5K was today. Keva was suppose to run it with me, but she ended up being sick, so I was on my own. I have to say, running in a race is alot different then just running on your own. My goal was to run it in under 30min and I was hoping for around 25min. I ended up running it in 27min 26sec. I took second in my age division and walked away with a silver medal, so I was very happy about that. I really think next time I can do better. It is hard to pace yourself when you are running with other people. I think I tried to hard to make it a race against other people instead of a race against the clock. I will for sure be running another 5K! It was a blast and very rewarding. So where do I go from here? I have been throwing around this question for some time. Right now I think my plan is to continue to cut till the feast. I will continue my running and weightlifting, but I will be focusing on weight loss. After the Feast I will begin a clean bulk and try to spend the winter putting on max muscle. I am very happy with my progress up to this point and I plan to continue on the same path!
